Welcome to A Love of Horror.
The horror genre is a vast place, with many different avenues to explore. Here, there's room to explore classic and recent horror fiction, horror on the web and in television, and of course, horror movies. From a personal standpoint, I am a big fan of the kind of horror movies being made in the 70s and 80s, when masters of the genre like John Carpenter and George Romero were creating unique works that played off such primal fears that they still scare viewers today. And really, isn't that what horror is all about?
So come along as I explore the horror world. I'll have some essays, some reviews, some news and who knows what else. So sit back, relax, and enjoy.
